FAQ
Will there be parking at the venue?
No, but there is limited street parking. The venue is a fifteen minute walk from both the recommended hotel and the nearest BART station. We encourage people to walk or take public transportation or a rideshare to the venue. We do not recommend walking after dark. We will provide rideshares to the hotel or BART after the wedding.
Is there a registry?
Your presence at our wedding is more than enough and there is no expectation of gifts. If you would still like to give something, please consider making a donation to one of the following non-profit organizations:
- The World Cube Association - This nonprofit supports “twisty puzzle” competitions (think Rubik’s cubes) around the world. It is a welcoming and supportive worldwide community for kids and adults. Jeremy volunteered for this organization for many years and it is very close to his heart. For more information and to donate, visit www.worldcubeassociation.org/about.
- Jewish Family and Community Services in the East Bay - This organization provides a variety of services to vulnerable groups in the San Francisco Bay Area, including refugees and immigrants, seniors (particularly Holocaust survivors), and children. While they are a Jewish organization, they provide assistance to people of all backgrounds. We have supported them for many years. For more information and to donate, visit jfcs-eastbay.org.
Are kids welcome at the wedding?
Yes! We’d love for your kids to be a part of the celebration. The reception and dinner will be held on fenced-in grounds where there will be room to run around. We also plan on having activities and a couple people to help keep kids occupied.
Are the ceremony and reception indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony and reception will be outdoors on the grounds of the Camron-Stanford House. Camron-Stanford House has an indoor museum which you are welcome to explore and the bathrooms are inside as well.
What is the dress code for the wedding?
Whatever makes you comfortable, seriously. If that’s a suit or formal dress, wear one of those, if it’s shorts and a t-shirt, feel free to wear shorts and a t-shirt. If it helps to calibrate, the bride and groom will be wearing dressy casual clothing for the ceremony and photos, then the groom will be changing into shorts for the reception. In order to preserve the lawn and gardens, the venue encourages guests to wear low-heeled shoes.
I have [insert allergy/dietary restriction]. Will I be able to eat the food?
We think so! There will be vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free food available. We can also provide individual kosher meals (but will need to know the number ahead of time). We encourage you to put any food restrictions in the notes field of your RSVP or reach out to us directly so we can be sure they are accommodated.
